25 Years of HealthWorld: A Landmark Gathering of the Healthcare Community
The 25th HealthWorld Conference, organized by the American – Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, was held on September 14 and 15, 2026, at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Hotel in Vouliagmeni, celebrating its 25th anniversary with remarkable success, overwhelming participation, and strong engagement from across the healthcare sector.
This year’s conference brought together senior policymakers and public officials, leading representatives of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and diagnostics industries, healthcare professionals, academics, and distinguished experts from Greece and abroad. The impressive turnout and broad representation of stakeholders reaffirmed HealthWorld’s role as a leading healthcare policy forum in Greece and a unique platform for dialogue across the healthcare ecosystem.
Under the theme “Health is Wealth: Policy – Innovation – Impact” and during the two conference days, dynamic discussions explored the key challenges and opportunities facing healthcare, including policy priorities, innovation and investment, demographic change and healthy longevity, sustainable funding, digital transformation, and better health outcomes.
A strong message emerged throughout the conference: meaningful progress in healthcare requires collaboration across the entire ecosystem, with policy, innovation and investment translating into sustainable solutions and better outcomes for the patients.
