The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce strives for continuous improvement of American-Hellenic commercial and financial relations, through increased membership and through organization of top-quality events, exhibitions, fora, seminars and networking events.

With a corporate membership today of more than 750 companies operating in Greece, that includes American companies doing business in Greece and major Greek enterprises doing business in or with the U.S., the Chamber continues to encourage and facilitate trade, investment and professional partnerships from both sides of the Atlantic.

The Chamber is a fully accredited member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C., and affiliated with the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC).

Position

The Chamber is non-partisan and independent of any political party or movement and is 100% self supporting. It receives no financial support from any government or government organization.

Facilitate and encourage trade and investment between Greece and the United States

Advocate on behalf of its members for a strong, fair, and competitive economy in Greece

Advocate for legislative reform in Greece that provides for a flexible labor environment, smart regulations, a stable, fair taxation system, good governance practices in both the public and private sector, a responsive education system, R&D, investment, and an open economy

Advocate for policies that encourage entrepreneurship, employment, and sustainable economic development

Members: Approximately 1000 corporate and professional members

Leadership: The Chamber operates under the direction of its Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Events: The Chamber has developed and hosts some of the leading events in Greece, including annual conferences on the Greek Economy, Taxation, Healthcare, CSR, Women in Business, IPR, Corporate Governance and Exports

Initiatives: The Chamber has developed a number of innovative initiatives that have become well established in Greece: Make Innovation Work (MIW), American Hellenic Enterprise Initiative (AHEI), Breakthrough Greece, and the Institute on Economic Policy and Public Governance.
