The 24th HealthWorld Conference, was held Monday, September 29, and Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Athens and concluded with remarkable success and overwhelming participation from all stakeholders across the healthcare sector.

This year’s conference, more vibrant and inclusive than ever, brought together leading healthcare figures from Greece, Europe, and the United States, senior policymakers and public officials, representatives from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical devices and diagnostics industries, physicians and pharmacists, as well as distinguished academics from Greece and abroad. The breadth of participation underscored HealthWorld’s role as the foremost healthcare policy forum in Greece, where dialogue and collaboration shape the sector’s path forward.

Over two dynamic days, participants engaged in thought-provoking sessions covering a wide spectrum of critical topics where the challenges and opportunities of the Greek healthcare system were examined in depth within a global and European context, with particular emphasis on ensuring equitable access to innovation, building sustainable and value-based healthcare models, strengthening hospital management and funding mechanisms, and recognizing the crucial role of healthcare professionals in driving systemic transformation.

HealthWorld 2025 was held under the auspices of Greece’s Ministry of Health, the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE), the Association of Health Research and Biotechnology Industry (SEIV), the PhRMA Innovation Forum (PIF), the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), and MedTech Europe.

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce extends its deep gratitude to the distinguished speakers, sponsors, and delegates whose contributions were pivotal in making the 24th HealthWorld conference an outstanding success. AmChamGr and its Health Committes -the Pharmaceutical Companies Committee and the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Committee- remains committed to sustaining this open dialogue and advancing the shared vision of a resilient, innovative, and patient-centered healthcare system in Greece.
