4th TRADING IN U.S. WATERS SEMINAR

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmChamGR) and the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) proudly announce the organization of the 4^th Trading in U.S. Waters Seminar: Future Trends and Innovations in the Maritime Sector, to be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10.30-17.00 hours, (Greek local time) at the Metropolitan Expo Center, in Athens, Greece during POSIDONIA International Shipping Exhibition week.

This important seminar is traditionally organized in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Athens and with the support of the Int’l Propeller Club of the United States, Int’l Port of Piraeus, and the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping – Maritime Hellas Shipping Cluster and is expected with great interest from the shipping industry experts.

The Trading in U.S. Waters Seminar, since its first organization back in 2016 was established to advance shipping innovation and to provide key information for vessels visiting the U.S. ports. Seminar participants will gain a deeper understanding of the current state of the shipping and marine services industry and will become updated on the latest trends and developments in the shipping industry and the opportunities and challenges ahead.

The Shark Tank Event, that was launched, with great success, for the first time during Posidonia 2022 to introduce U.S. Innovative Technologies to Posidonia audience will be consolidated this year at the seminar program and a panel of experts/potential investors will decide and invest -using fake money- in the Innovative U.S. companies – mostly Start-ups which are engaged on state-of-the-art technologies.
