3rd ExportUSA Forum

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and its International Trade Department “TradeUSA”, in cooperation with the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (SBBE) and Greek Exporters’ Association (SEVE), hosted the 3rd ExportUSA Forum “FoodUSA: Innovation & Disruption is ON” on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Congress Centre “Ioannis Vellidis” in Thessaloniki.

The conference was organized within the framework of the organization of the U.S. Pavilion at the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair, where the USA was the honored country, and was marked by great success and participation by a great number of distinguished guests and representatives of the Greek exporters’ business community.

U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic Geoffrey Pyatt addressed the forum, underlining the US support for the economic recovery of Greece and expressing the strong belief that the economic and trade bilateral relationships, could be further developed.

Key issues such as disruption, food and beverages trends, consumer insights, product innovation and FDA compliance were analyzed thoroughly by U.S. Food market experts while a special dive into the Cheese, Bakery and Specialty Products category was made. In addition, topics including new product development, product insurance and e-solutions were covered, providing the top-level executives, mainly from the F&B sector, who attended the forum, with valuable insights concerning the American Food Industry and its consumers.
