The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with its Corporate Responsibility (CR) Committee, will hold its 22nd annual Corporate Responsibility conference, The Pale Blue Dot, on October 22, 2024, to take place at the iconic Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Lighthouse. This conference is the oldest sustainability conference in Greece and is regarded as the most impactful. Throughout, its 22-year journey to sustainability, AmCham Greece consistently aims at purpose-driven business and effective contributions to sustainable change through its members.

The Pale Blue Dot Conference will focus on the key issues of sustainability which at the same time are also key issues for the well-being and survival of humanity. The basic concept of this year’s conference is to prioritize issues as one would when looking at Earth from afar.

Our goal is to focus on practical, local-scale solutions to the following global issues interlinked with the effects of climate change and geopolitics: Carbon Capture, Biodiversity, Socio-economic Resilience to Natural Disasters, Cultural Tolerance and Societal Integration. The main position of the conference will be the coordinated leveraging of resources (eg. investment funds) towards these four key issues.

The CR 2024 Pale Blue Dot Conference builds on our long legacy of meaningful and impactful events that drive sustainable action.

Stay tuned!
