The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce had the distinct honor of welcoming the new U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, Kimberly Guilfoyle, during an introductory meeting with the AmChamGR Board of Directors, followed by a dinner at the Athens Olympic Museum.
The President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, John D. Saracakis, offered Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle a 2004 Olympic Torch, which she received with enthusiasm.

“On behalf of AmCham Greece, I welcome you back to Athens- to the very place where the modern Olympic history took place. Standing here, surrounded by symbols that have inspired generations, we are reminded that the Olympic spirit is not history; it is a living force that continues to unite people and nations. And so, we stand here today in the birthplace of the Olympic ideal- a symbol of unity and shared aspiration and values.
At the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, we have worked for nearly 100 years to support this trajectory – by opening doors, building trust, and creating opportunities across sectors and across boarders”.
U.S. Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle
“One of my primary missions in Greece is to facilitate deals for U.S. companies in a way that benefits both our nations. I want to hear from you, I want to work with you, I want to partner with you. I respect your efforts, your companies, your employees, and your commitment to this bilateral relationship.”
The evening concluded with a productive discussion centered on shared priorities and opportunities to further advance transatlantic cooperation.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ambassador for her thoughtful engagement, her strong support for the American-Hellenic business community, and her steadfast commitment to deepening the partnership between the United States and Greece.
