EDUCATION INNOVATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2014

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with its Education Innovation & Entrepreneurship (EIE) Committee, held the EIE International Conference 2014: Key elements to make innovation work on May 14, 2014 at the Gennadius Library Cotsen Hall of the American School of Classical Studies in Athens.

The conference successfully gathered innovation and education experts like teachers, professors, universities, start-ups, venture capitals and individual professionals, incubators/accelerators/angels  as well as state decision makers, agencies and government elites.

The event itself was a great conversation and debate starter and aimed to set up the dialogue between young entrepreneurs and businesses with innovation enablers like educational organizations and the broader educational system as well as innovation boosters like financial institutions, VCs and state resources representatives.

The conference consisted of two major parts; the first part focused on innovation enablers and mainly on education and the second part on innovation boosters with main focus current practices, new practices and working models.

The theatrical format of the hall injected an energetic dynamic to this conference, captured the attention of the attendees, and engaged them in a positive and interactive dialogue.
