Committee Panel Discussion | Development, Design & Construction in New York City

The Construction Committee Panel Discussion of the HACC is hosted twice a year to discuss current updates and developments. The unscripted panel discussion series has developed a sort of cult following the New York real estate industry.

The Panel Discussion held on March 26, 2015 analized a real-time case study of a real-estate project that is currently under developement and New York media wrote an article regarding the project.

Why it was interesting

The Greek corporations that participated are interested in proceeding into exports, joint ventures, sub-contracting, conducting market research, promoting of a major project and find sales representatives and/or distributors. The Panel Discussion was a fantastic opportunity to learn how the NY Construction industry operates via a case study analized and network with representatives of the Development, Design & Construction Industry in New York City.

This Panel Discussion was one of the benefits gained from the 2015 TRADE USA Construction Mission Delegates, since, the Chamber’s main target was to bring them in contact with as many representatives from the industry as possible  in order to maximize the value and outcome of this business delegation.

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, along with its co-organizing partners, during the developments of the 2015 TRADE USA Construction Mission, provided up-to-date information regarding recent negotions status of Government with its Credit Partners, in Bloomberg TV. In addition, interviews were organized at Bloomberg Newswire and New York Observer for the delegates  offering the opportunity to participate in constructive discussions regarding recent developments and status of the Greek Real-Estate & Construction Industry and its growth potentials.

The 2015 TRADE USA Construction Mission Delegation was accompanied by a range of companies active in the Development, Design and Construction alongside with the ICT Industries in Greece. The delegation, thus, presented a multifaceted mixture of goods and services providing a hollistic and representative perspective to match the demands of the U.S. Market. Each of the Greek Delegates promoted the project/product/service that is more relevant either to his corporate strategy or to U.S. Market’s needs.
